The Emma P. Hendrickson, Charles A. Edwards, Marilyn Kalnas and Albert G. Gonsiska Jr. Scholarship Awards are sponsored by the Morris County NJ USBC. The awards consider bowling achievement along with scholastic performance and community involvement.
The 2026 scholarship program awarded a total of $4,000, with four $1,000 scholarships. Scholarship funds are placed into the USBC SMART program.

SMART — Scholarship Management and Account Reporting for Tenpins — provides centralized management and protection of bowling scholarship funds. Bowling organizations across the country offer millions of dollars in scholarship money each season.
VISIT SMARTThe New Jersey State USBC also offers scholarship opportunities for eligible youth bowlers, including the Stars of Tomorrow scholarship program. Check the NJ State USBC for current application dates and requirements.
